Jamie Hansen is a Nonprofit Specialist at Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co., in the firm’s Providence, RI office. Jamie has over nine years of experience specializing in not-for-profit organizations and compliance-related clients. Jamie is a graduate of Roger Williams University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and is currently attending Johnson and Wales University to obtain her Masters of Science in Nonprofit Management and completing the CPA exam.
Jamie’s passion for animal welfare started when she was a little girl when she adopted her first kitten at three- years-old. Growing up with all types of animals, including rabbits, cats, ferrets, etc., Jamie always focused on the well-being of her pets. Jamie rescued her first dog in 2007, when she graduated college and then rescued a second dog in 2009. Jamie found ARRI while attending various animal rescue charity events throughout Rhode Island and in her search for a third dog. Volunteering in an organization dedicated to animal welfare through humane education fit perfectly in her life.
