Next Volunteer Orientation | Saturday March 29  at 10:00 a.m. | Zoom

Current Need: Weekday Dog Walkers Comfortable Walking Active Dogs 

Our next volunteer orientation will be held on Saturday March 29 at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom. We are currently looking for volunteers comfortable walking active dogs and available for a one- or two-hour shift between 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on a weekday. If you are interested in other volunteer opportunities at ARRI, you are welcome to join this orientation, but please understand that it may be a while before we can add you to our onsite schedule as our other onsite volunteer positions, including in our cat room, are currently full.

We're excited to announce that production has begun on a new brew, "That’s So Fetch", brewed in support of Animal Rescue Rhode Island! The Rhode Island Beer Club and Smug Brewing have joined forces to release "That’s So Fetch", a Tangerine and Coriander Belgian Witbier.

Food trucks, raffles, and giveaways + your ARRI friends and staff will be onsite.

Donations of food and supplies will be collected that day for the shelter.

Boo

Fudge, now Boo, is very confident and smart. He loves playing with toys and loves cuddling (when he's ready to relax). He's also getting along well with his new siblings, Pea (his canine sister), and Winnie (his feline sister).  Winnie is still warming up to Boo and his energy; he is seemingly very excited to have another cat sibling. Boo and Pea have partnered up to help/beg in the kitchen and help/supervise us around the house. 

Your organization was great to work with.  My parents also adopted a kitten in December from you as well (she is also doing great).  Both cats were confident and well socialized. We both would highly recommend your organization for anyone looking to adopt.

Addison (now Buoy) has adjusted quite well in her new home! She loves following her dad anywhere he goes and loves to have play time with mom! She loves her nerd tug rings; those are her go-to play toys. When she's not having the zoomies or with one of us, you can probably find her on the couch looking out the window or watching TV. She really loves hockey! We've also learned that she LOVES snow. Playing in the snow can keep us busy all day!
