If you’re an adopter, or have spent time with us, you know we love what we do.
ARRI doesn’t just offer a temporary refuge. Our staff and volunteers provide enrichment, socialization, and play time. Whether it’s dogs climbing agility equipment or kittens pouncing and wrestling, our animals always have physical activity and brain games to keep them happy.
The animals in our care are always treated as individuals. Although hundreds come through our doors every year, our team gets to know their personalities, likes and dislikes, and even their quirks. They stay in our hearts, and we talk about them long after they’ve been adopted.

Each month, ARRI will celebrate a dedicated volunteer who goes above and beyond for our animals. This month’s honoree, Candace Sullivan, shared a bit about her experience: Why do you volunteer at ARRI? I am retired and have the time to give back to the animals. I love spending time with all of them and getting to meet all the cats! What is your favorite thing about ARRI? The dedication of the staff is incredible. It is so impressive that ARRI runs on donations. Who is your current ARRI Fave? That is impossible to answer... but Livy. She has been here a while, and I know her well and she's so sweet. |
