A few days after we shared Misu's story, something wonderful happened.
His future family saw his post, fell in love with him through the screen, and came to meet him the very next day. It didn't take long to see that it was the perfect match. Before the end of the week, Misu was on his way home. After everything he'd been through, from being surrendered, to an unexpected health scare, to the stress of shelter life, this gentle boy finally got the fresh start he deserved. |
|
|
Away from the shelter, Misu settled in surprisingly quickly. His new family tells us he's doing wonderfully, and every photo they send makes us smile a little bigger. He looks relaxed, content, and so very loved, still rolling on his back constantly.
Watching animals like Misu leave the shelter and truly blossom in a home is one of the greatest reminders of why we do what we do. Sometimes, all they need is the right environment and someone willing to give them a chance. Thank you to everyone who shared Misu's story. Because of you, the right people found him. Congrats to Misu and his new family! |

Your Legacy, Their Future
August is Make-A-Will Month, a thoughtful reminder to protect what matters most and consider the impact you want to leave behind. By including ARRI in your estate plans or making a gift through stocks, mutual funds, IRAs, donor-advised funds, or other assets, you can provide shelter, medical care, and second chances for homeless pets for years to come. A gift today can save lives. A legacy gift can shape the future. Learn more about joining the Forever Friends Circle and creating a lasting impact for homeless pets. Meet Luna! Luna has been patiently waiting for her forever home since arriving at ARRI in early May, and we think it's time this special girl got the spotlight she deserves. After spending some time in foster, Luna is back at the shelter and more than ready to find her family. Her foster family affectionately nicknamed her "Piglet," and they absolutely fell in love with her.
They described Luna as a wonderful work-from-home companion who also loves long walks in the woods, playing ball, and curling up on the couch for movie nights. She's house-trained, crate-trained, knows several commands, and is eager to keep learning. She especially enjoys being close to her people and has a sweet habit of gathering stray socks and following her family around the house. |
Luna has been waiting since May for someone to see what her foster family already knows. We hope her person is out there, ready to give this deserving girl the home she's been waiting for. |
|
|
Luna can be a little shy when meeting new people, so she's looking for a patient, calm home that will give her the time she needs to settle in. Her foster family believes she'd thrive with another dog and in a quieter household. Above all else, they wanted us to know this: "She is incredibly affectionate and loving, and a great snuggler."
To meet Luna, call us at 401-783-7606, x 105, or complete an adoption questionnaire today. |
