Our Rescheduled walk was an amazing day!
What a beautiful day we had on Saturday for our rescheduled Bark on the Beach Dog Walk! The sun was shining, the tails were wagging, and more than 100 dogs and their human companions joined us at Narragansett Town Beach for a truly special celebration.
We raised more than $52,000 for the homeless animals at ARRI! It is because of fundraisers like Bark on the Beach that we can continue providing shelter, medical care, food, love, and second chances to animals in need.
We are simply overwhelmed (in the best way) by the generosity of our participants, fundraisers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and supporters. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us and help make the day such a success.
The day was filled with memorable moments, and there is truly nothing more special than watching a community rally behind the pets in our care. Seeing a huge amount of participants and their dogs is just amazing. It is a light day, full of joy, celebration, and brining animal lovers together for a great cause.
On the scheduled walk day, despite a torrential downpour that led to the cancellation of our beach walk, this community showed up in a big way.
About 120 supporters joined us at the Animal Rescue Rhode Island shelter on the original date. Participants were welcomed to come in and collect swag bags, collect sponsor goodies, prizes, and learn more about the people and businesses in our community that stand behind homeless pets.
